Institute for Standardization of Serbia at the 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia is participating in the 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements, thereby continuing its successful tradition of presence at one of the most significant economic and technological events in the region. This marks the third consecutive year of the Institute’s active participation in the Fair of Technics, with the aim of bringing standardization, certification, and modern technical solutions closer to all interested parties - industry representatives, experts, the academic community, and young professionals.

On the second day of the event, an expert conference entitled “Application of Standardization in the Fields of Measurement and Industrial Process Control” was organized in the Ceremonial Hall of the Fair. The conference was opened by Tatjana Bojanić, Acting Director of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, who emphasized the importance of standards in modern industry, digitalization, and sustainable development.

During the programme, current topics in the fields of measurement, automation, smart manufacturing, and artificial intelligence were presented, along with practical applications of standards in industrial MES systems. Particular attention was devoted to the use of artificial intelligence for real-time process analytics, more efficient energy consumption, reduction of losses, and lower CO₂ emissions.

Participants had the opportunity to hear the experiences of company representatives and industry experts, as well as announcements regarding the Institute’s future activities and presentations. The Institute is exhibiting in Hall 1A of the Belgrade Fair.
